FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how Zeny works for brands and creators.

What is Zeny?+

Zeny is a performance UGC platform. Creators make video ads for brands, and brands pay a commission on the sales each video drives.

What is performance UGC?+

It is UGC (video made by real people) paid by results: instead of a fixed fee per video, the brand pays a commission on the sales the ad brings.

What do brands pay?+

The brand pays an annual plan, a fee on commissions, and the commission on each sale, which it sets in the program. Plan prices will be published soon.

How does Zeny know which video drove a sale?+

Each creator has a tracked link, and a store pixel records the visit and the order. That ties each sale to the video that brought the buyer.

Which stores work with Zeny?+

The Shopify integration is in pilot. Nuvemshop, VTEX, Tray and Yampi are on the way. Meanwhile, each creator’s tracked link already identifies the clicks.

Do I need many followers to be a creator?+

No. The video runs as the brand's ad, so what counts is whether it sells, not how many followers you have.

How do creators make money?+

With a commission on each sale tied to their video. Many programs also ship the product as a sample to shoot.

Do creators pay anything?+

Joining programs is free. Zeny Pro, with the Zeny Academy and extra features, is optional and sold on our creator page.

Can the brand use the videos in ads?+

Yes. Approved videos can be used in the brand's ads under the terms of each program.

Can the brand decline a video?+

Yes. Every video is reviewed: the brand approves, asks for a change, or declines, and the creator is notified.

How do product samples work?+

The brand chooses which products can be requested. The creator requests, the brand approves and ships, and the creator confirms when it arrives.

Is there guaranteed income for creators?+

No. Earnings depend on the sales the videos drive. Zeny does not promise amounts.

Does Zeny work outside Brazil?+

We start in Brazil, with the model that already works in the US. The product and the site are also in English.
